Windows Vista: SP1 accidentally released via Windows Update
Small leak Microsoft with the accidental leak of a build of Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista for a group of users has obtained via Windows Update.

Thursday, users of Windows Vista have found traces of Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista in Windows Update while to recall, the SP1 is not supposed to be available through the service update from Microsoft before mid-March. Some users of Windows Vista 64-bit version reported on specialized forums that the installation was done without any problems while for the majority, the download could not succeed.
Microsoft admits leak
As indicated by the firm in Redmond InformationWorld of our colleagues, it is an accidental leak: "A build of SP1 (editor's note: apparently the RTM) has been issued via Windows Update and thus available inadvertently for a wide group of users. Build this was only to our testers the most advanced and was available to those with a specific registry key defined in their system. We reaffirm our intention to distribute to the SP1 mid-March. "
