Ultimate Extras: DreamScene is finally available

Microsoft will not have held its promise to publish DreamScene before the end of the summer, but the delay is finally of a few days. Ultimate Extra DreamScene is from now on available in final version for all the Integral editions of Vista.

For recall, DreamScene is an application which makes it possible to replace the traditional static funds of screen by videos MPEG or WMV, including in HD. Obviously, the consumed resources depend only on compression used and the resolution for this video. The downloading makes approximately 22 MB and a restarting of the system is necessary.

Once DreamScene installed, it is preferable, as long as to make, to install DeskScape. This free application, developed by StarDock in partnership with Microsoft, extends the capacities of DreamScene to other types of contents, as the static images to which effects of undulation or others are applied, or of animations 3D.

Overall, the greediest Dream files can require up to 30% of the resources processor, it is necessary thus paying attention so that one installs on his machine.
