Exporting and importing of XML content using Dreamweaver

XML is short for Extensible Markup Language. This is a language that is considered a major development on the Internet. But for non-programmer or not work with the use of languages and tools for the Web, it is almost imperceptible the advantages of XML. This article is available to make this clearer.
XML is a technical specification developed by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium - the body responsible for the definition of the graphic area of the Internet) to overcome the limitations of HTML, which is the standard of the web pages.
The XML is defined as the universal format for structured data on the Web. These data consist of tables, drawings, the configuration parameters, etc... The language then tries to define rules allowing write these documents so that they are adequately visible to the computer.
Let's touch on how to export XML content. You can use the resources of exports Extensible Markup Language (XML) to export editable regions of a template as an XML document. By using this feature, you can export your content to a format that can be changed outside of Dreamweaver, using a text editor.
1. Open a document using a template with editable regions.
2. Select File> Export> Export Editable Regions as XML.
When the dialog box Export Editable as XML appears, select a tab notation, and click OK.
You can also import external XML into your Dreamweaver, to do that fallow next steps:
1. Select File> Import XML into Template.
2. Select XML source and click Open. When the XML file is imported, the Dreamweaver mixing the XML with the feedback specified in the XML file and displays the result in a new window Document. If the feedback is found not specified you select a template to use.
