Create Web Album Using Adobe Dreamweaver and Fireworks

With this tips we will explain you how you can very easily create Web Album using Adobe Dreamweaver and Fireworks, and you do not need any additional software.

When you select the command Create Web Photo Album, there appear a box of dialogue requesting information on as you desire to mount the Web pages for its album of photos.

You need to indicate the folder that contains the images for your album of photos and a folder that must contain the converted images and archives HTML - Dreamweaver together with Fireworks makes the remaining portion.

  1. Place all the images that that desire its album of photos contains in an only folder. One makes sure of that the archives are in a format that is supported (.gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .psd, .tif or .tiff)
  2. Create a folder for the archives of the album of Web photos. This folder will contain both, archives HTML and the archives of images.
  3. In the Dreamweaver, select Commands > Create Web Photo Album, dialogue box Create Web Photo Album will show up
  4. In the field Photo Album Title enter with a heading to appear in the high one of each Web page. Enter with a sub-heading in the field Subheading Info. Type any other information to appear below of the heading and sub-heading, in the field Other Info.
  5. Click in the Browser button to the right of the field Images Folder and locates the folder that contains images for your web album. Click in the Browser button to the right of the field Destination Folder and locates the folder that will receive the Web pages and the images.
  6. Pop-up Thumbnail Size selects a so great miniature of the menu and later clicks the box of verification Filenames Show; if you want that the archive names appear below of the images in miniatures. Indicate how many columns of miniatures desire, in the Columns field.
  7. Select a format of archive for the miniatures and photos from the menus pop-up for Thumbnail Format and Photo Format, respectively. Type a value in the Scale field, if you want to reduce the size of the images.
  8. Mark the box of verification Create Navigation Page will be Each Photo, if you want that each image appears in separate Web page, with links of navigation Back, Home and Next. If you leave this taken away mark option, the miniatures will have links for the images, instead of a Web page with links of navigation.
  9. Click on OK and the Fireworks will launch, showing a box of dialogue Progress Batch.
  10. When the box of dialogue Album Created appears, click in Ok.
  11. View created page in web browser. Each one of the images in the page of miniatures is one link for separate page HTML contends the image biggest.
