Windows XP: keys of multiple selections

You probably wonder how to select several files in the Windows explorer, but only those which you want and not all at the same time? And well you will see that with some shortcut keys, one can do everything:

  1. To select all the files of a file: place in the file and made “CTRL + A” at the same time.
  2. To select several files laid out after: select the starting file, then remain supported on the key “Shift”, and select the file of end. Slacken “Shift”. (the Shift key is located at the top of key CTRL in bottom on the left of your keyboard)
  3. To select several files one by one: select the first file of which you need, remain supported on key “CTRL” of your keyboard and select all the other files one by one. Slacken CTRL when it is finished.
  4. To exclude a file from your selection: press on key CTRL of your keyboard then click on the file with left mouse button.
