Repair Windows Vista Recycle Bin basket

Inside Windows Vista Recycle Bin basket receive new option. If you right click on the basket present on your desk, it is possible to select the option “Remove”. For the most inattentive people, it is possible to confuse this function with the line “Empty Recycle Bin”.
These two functions do not have of course the same function; the first option removes the Recycle Bin icon from your desktop, when the second empties the Recycle Bin basket. So by mistake you maybe did choose first option and removed your Recycle Bin basket, not panic, we have the solution.
- Right click on the desktop and select the line “Personalize”,
- In the right panel click on “Change Desktop Icons”
- In the new window, notch the enable Recycle Bin checkbox,
- Validate changes and here is your Recycle Bin basket again visible on desktop.
- It happens sometimes that an empty basket takes the appearance of full or conversely.
Always it is that to give an appearance in conformity, a small handling is essential:
- Right click on the desk and select “Personalize”
- Click on “Changing Desktop Icons”
- Select the icon “Basket (Full)” and click on “Default settings”
- Also select the icon “Basket (vacuum)” and again, click on “Default settings”
- Click on “OK” to validate the modifications.
Lastly, if your Basket refuses to remove certain files, think of the reinstallation.
- For that launch the explorer of documents,
- Show the “Hidden File and Folders”
- Also strip the box “Mask the files protected from the operating system”
- Validate the changes
- Now to the root of your hard disk and remove the file $RECYCLE.BIN.
- Start again your computer, the Recycle Bin file recreates, and the basket is repaire
