As we already saw in a preceding article, it is possible to completely decontaminate control user of Windows Vista. Unfortunately this solution reduced of much the safety of the operating system. This is why it is also possible to activate control user while removing alarms inviting the user to authorize the action in progress.
As opposed to what I could found on Internet, this action is not only possible in the versions higher than Windows Vista Home Premium, it is just a little less intuitive for this edition. Indeed, Vista Home does not lay out of the utility “secpol.msc “, it is thus necessary to directly modify the register to arrive at the same result. For that:
- Launch the editor of the register by typing “regedit” in the search bar of the start menu,
- Unroll the tree structure as follows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/ SOFTWARE/ Microsoft/ Windows/ CurrentVersion/ Policies/ System
- Once for the good place, it is necessary to modify the line “ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin” in above clicking double. Lastly, modify value 2 by 0.
- Do not forget to start again the computer so that the modification is taken into account.
