Now when you finish with windows vista installation and you run windows for a first time first you need to do is to check drivers for motherboard, graphic card... They are probably already installed from Windows Vista DVD but on some computers they will not be.
To install them you will need motherboard, graphic card... CD or you can find them on internet. Now fallow next steps:
- Click Start,
- Right click on Computer and choose properties,
- On right side of window under Tasks you will see Device Manager,
- Left click on Device Manager, popup window will show up, click on Continue,
- Now in new window find item which name is "Other Devices". If she doesn’t exist all drivers are installed and work OK. But if she exist click on + to expand "Other Devices".
- Now you will see one more name below Other Devices. Right mouse on that item and click on "Update Driver Software".
- If you are Updating drivers from CD click on "Browse my computer for driver software", but if you are updating them from internet click on "Search automatically for update driver software" (You need to be connect to internet).
- Now if you did choose "Browse my computer for driver software" in next step you need to click on Browse and find your CD/DVD-ROM and click OK. If your drivers are on Hard-Disk find path to them.
