You may be looking at the keyboard while typing and accidentally press the Caps, Scroll or Num lock keys and not realize it. There is a way to have Windows automatically play a warning beep when either of these keys are pressed. To do this:
- Click the Start button.
- Select Settings
- Click Control Panel
- Double-click the Accessibility Options icon.
- Place a check in the "Use ToggleKeys" checkbox.
- Click OK to save your settings.
